In order for us to consider your company or establishment for certification you will need to submit an application form. Should you have any questions about the application, any member of our professional staff will be happy to assist you. The Badatz keeps all submitted information strictly confidential. Once you have completed your application please fax it to our offices at 905-479-2007. A Rabbinic Coordinator will visit your facilities for an initial, comprehensive inspection. This inspection gives us a thorough understanding of your company's manufacturing procedures . The Rabbinic Coordinator will outline the procedures that your company must adhere to in order to receive and maintain kosher certification.
After completing the initial inspection, the Rabbinic Coordinator will report back to our Rabbinical Council which is under the leadership of Rabbi Amram Assayag. The Rabbinical Council will then determine a program for supervision, and outline the requirements necessary to obtain kosher certification. Once this has been approved by the Rabbinical Council you will be notified in writing as to the conditions of your kosher certification. This will include a fee structure based on a variety of factors, including the nature of the production, the location and the amount of effort necessary to maintain your kosher production. We will then forward a contract to you for your approval.
